Apprentice challenge for recruitment consultants
IT and telecoms recruiter NetworkersMSB has run ‘Apprentice style’ challenges to teach its consultants about sales tactics.
They competed to see who could raise the most money by selling merchandise and tickets for Saracens Rugby Club. Sales tactics included offering commuters a free breakfast with every purchase, dressing up in rugby kit to attract attention, selling via eBay as well as telesales.
Emma Weston, NetworkersMSB’s head of human resources, told Recruiter: “It is a great way to inspire new and original ideas. At a time when many companies are cutting back on their training and development, we are investing time and resources into ensuring that our people are the best they can be.”
