Appointments: Walker Andersen appoints director

Accountancy recruiter Walker Andersen, the newly launched specialist recruitment brand of Andersen Partnership, has appointed Brian Schroder as a director of the partnership.

Schroder spent the past eight years with Robert Half in the US and Sydney where he was a director.

Chairman Niall Hamill says: “Brian has a wealth of experience in the accountancy sector and we’re very confident of his ability to build and grow a reputable brand presence nationally in Australia.”

Hamill confirmed that the brand would also be launched in Perth and Brisbane in 2010.
