Appointments: Thayer joins Genius as non-exec director

Recruitment advertising and employer communications agency Genius Consultancy has appointed Betty Thayer, the former founder and chief executive of exec-appointments.com, as a non-executive director to its board.

Thayer (pictured left), a former Ernst & Young partner, sold exec–appointments.com to the Financial Times in 2007. She is also a non-exec director of the Appointments Commission, a visiting lecturer at Cranfield School of Management and chair of TriStart, a business tool for start-up, early stage and more mature businesses.
