Appointments: REC’s Fairweather joins banking association

Anne Fairweather, head of policy at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, is leaving the trade body to take up a new position at the British Bankers Association.

After five years at the REC, during which she was heavily involved in important policy areas, including the Agency Workers Directive, Fairweather takes up a new role as director of European government affairs next month. 

Fairweather, who will be based in Brussels, told Recruiter: “It’s time to look at new areas of policy, and I am looking forward to getting stuck into the new role.”
