Appointments: Former Martin Ward Anderson exec joins Oakleaf

Specialist HR search and recruitment business Oakleaf Partnership has taken on Fiona Desmond as a partner in the London office.

Desmond (pictured left) will have responsibility for the commerce & industry and professional services HR search and recruitment businesses.

Following various management roles at Marks & Spencer and Somerfield, Desmond spent the last 10 years with accountancy and financial services recruiter Martin Ward Anderson, part of the Randstad stable, where she was latterly executive director with regional responsibility for 12 offices, as well as London, and some 60 staff.
