Appointments: Effectivate, Purple, Aston Recruitment

Colm Hannon, one of Careerbuilder’s original UK team members, has been appointed partner in selection technology firm Effectivate.

Hannon will focus on running social media consultancy eSocialMedia.co.uk.

Creative recruiter Purple has appointed Maia Williams on its digital creative desk. 

Williams will be responsible for finding digital roles including web designers, creative teams, art directors and copywriters, and joins Purple from Huntress Technology where she focused on web development technologies. 

Elsewhere, Scottish independent Aston Recruitment has recruited consultants Deborah Foy within its hospitality division and Jill MacNab in its sales and marketing division.
