Recruiter website

Published: 27 August 2008

Select Appointments, part of Dutch recruitment firm Randstad, has reported an 87% increase in online applications.

The increase follows a website redesign, with candidates are no longer required to register before applying for jobs.

Nicola Severn, spokesperson for Select Appointments, said: “The requirement to fill out lengthy registration forms before applying for jobs online is known to discourage candidates.  Many jobseekers browse the internet during their lunch break and simply want to identify job that appeal to them as quickly as possible and submit their CV then and there.”
