OPD results

Published: 27 August 2008

Operating profits at international recruitment services group OPD fell by 11% to £6.3m for the six months to June, compared to £7.1m in the  same period in 2007.

Net fee income increased by 4% to £47.4m, compared to £45.3m in 2007.

Commenting on the results, Francesca Robinson, OPD’s chief executive, said: “Trading conditions in some markets have become increasingly challenging with no signs of immediate improvement. However, while keeping operating costs under detailed review, the group has continued to invest in the long-term future of its business.”
