David Beckett has joined technology recruiters Mayfield Curzon to head up its newly formed construction division, having previously worked at Leap 29, before moving up the management ladder to run his own team.
Accounting, finance and senior mangement recruiter Stark Brooks has appointed recruitment consultant Mike Avis as business manager. Avis will focus on business development, delivery at a senior management level, key account management and business operations support. The Manchester office of Stark Brooks has appointed Zeynep Turunc as headhunter.
Simon Kocinski has joined specialist technical and engineering recruitment firm NES UK as recruitment consultant in its process division.
Creative communications recruiter Straco International has appointed Ben Coope as account executive for the events sector. Catherine Sullivan has also been promoted to account manager for exhibitions.

New finance director at Change Recruitment Group
Robinson will be responsible for Change Recruitment’s continued development, following the company’s management buy-out in 2006 and, in particular, looking at acquisition opportunities over the next five years. Robinson joins Change from First Group, where he was interim finance director for the company’s York division. He brings 30 years’ experience to his new role at Change. Commenting on his appointment, Suzanne Ramsay, chief executive of Change Recruitment Group, said: “Brian is immensely qualified and an accomplished finance director who has consistently performed in previous posts and brings with him a wealth of corporate experience, especially of private equity backed businesses, which will be invaluable to developing Change as we move forward.” |

The firm has also promoted Lucy Kirby and Richard Casement to account managers in the restaurant division, while Karen Wright joins the division as resourcer.
