Biscom bought out
Biscom Resource Management, a leading recruitment and training provider in the Midlands, has been acquired by the NASDAQ-listed ResCare. ResCare's acquisition of Biscom is part of its plans to expand into the European Union. The Biscom identity will be retained.

Vaco turns to Bond
ndBond International Software, the provider of staffing software solutions, has signed a new contract worth $1.5m (£3m) with consulting and executive placement firm Vaco. Tennessee-based Vaco chose Bond's Adapt Recruitment system throughout its North American operation.

Graduate partnership
The Guardian and The Careers Group, University of London have announced a partnership. The deal will see The Careers Group's graduate recruitment exhibitions delivered under the aegis of both brands.

Screwfix tracks talent
Screwfix Direct, the direct and online supplier of building and maintenance items, has selected the online recruitment system TalentTracker Enterprise.

Dutch firm buys Allgeier
USG People (Netherlands) has agreed to buy Allgeier, the German staffing firm. USG will pay around £130m for the company.
