4MAT event: Recruiters told to focus on process not outcome
Recruiters have been urged to focus on the recruitment process rather than the placement outcome by business consultant Jeff Grout.
Speaking at an event organised by recruitment website development firm 4MAT at Dartmouth House in London, Grout said that recruiters should prioritise KPIs (key performance indicators).
Grout says: “Focus on the actual process. It might be about recruitment. It might be about interviews. It might be about meetings. What are the KPIs in your business? If you measure something, you can improve it. If you measure anything you should measure that. Focus on the process and you will get the outcome.”
